I'd never do finance, economics, commerce or accounting. Bores me to death.
Yes, it does suck. I had to modules in most of them for International business. Everytime I see a balance sheet I wanna' squat right over it, position my ass right in the middle, let my guts let loose, then fold the paper in half and flick it at my lecturers groin.

I enjoyed Philosophy alot during my I.B days...

IB as in International Baccaulaureate? In that case, me too.
Theory of Knowledge was indeed quite fun.

"Does human behaviour reflect the existence of God?"

    What was your topic?

    "Can a machine know?"

The teachers advised us all to pick any topic except for that very one because it was tough, but to hell with them, I had a lot more fun doing it, can't remember the score though.

No, Sri Lanka. Jumped into it in the middle of the 11th grade, so missed the pre-IB (10th grade) and half of the initial year, but managed to pull through and was an amazing experience there. For all the whine and flaws that there might be, I think its a great course.

Except for Visual Arts. Poured the most effort into it, and got the lowest score in it. Such a pain.

****, where are you from originially? You seem to move around a lot.

But yeah, I.B was a good course. It certainly helped me prepare for University. Tbh, so far, I find I.B presented more of a challenge than my first year at Uni.

Swede originally, so it was a good guess, and yeah, perhaps since I didn't need to juggle studies and a job for the first semester it went by quite well, will see how the next sem goes.

By the way, a rare thing happened at the 2007 final IB exams if you didn't hear about it. For the history test, instead of the 2007 papers being sent out across the globe they sent the 2004 papers (which people used alot to rehearse for the test), and didn't manage to recall it. Grade curves went sky-high, so despite practicising for the very same paper in class the morning of the test I did far better on the unprepared and HL papers.

Teachers and students alike got pretty annoyed with that. Such a mess-up.

Yeah that's another name for it, but unibrow is used slightly more often around here I think

It's like the soda / pop thing. Everyone from Long Island and NYC ONLY call it soda, and everyone from Buffalo and west, such as in Michigan, ONLY call it pop, but people in Rochester use both equally
