Yep, you have to lie in order for them to come fast. If they know there is a threat to them then they will just leave you to die (or robbed or whatever). Why become a cop? And then they do a pathetic investigation even if given good info. I should become a detective .

must be a lot different over there.....i worked with former cops and have friends that are detectives due to my history of working as a fraud investigator.....the cops on the beat get a hard time from people. Infact i myself at one stage wanted to become a cop because i wanted to help make my country a safer place.

Cops in the USA are arrogant and abuses their power. They rather shoot first (because they are bunch of pussys) and ask questions later. To give you an example, Drew Petersen and that cop that was caught on video beating up the lady bartender in Chicago.

Of course it is, every country I have been too have different cops. I like Russia personally, they will beat the **** out of you for throwing shit out the window...now that is my style . They also beat the **** out of drug dealers and say **** to reading them their rights. People sometimes need a good beating lol. Over there they don't pull over people for BS either. I like USA though, "**** that their are rapists and drug dealers walking the streets...I have more important things to do like give that guy a no front license plate ticket because his car is more expensive and better than anything I can afford on my cop pay! yeay!"

Well, anyone who carries around a gun scares me, especially out in the open like metal death on their hip. That is meant to instill order, which doesn't come without more than a small dose of fear of the populace. Sorry, but hunters are just as bad. "I killed a 10 pound animal that eats plants today!" and that's evidently neat-o enough to get your photo in the local paper. If it's a moose, you may even get to be Vice President! Now that's power, and imagine what kind of shit storms VEEP hunters can wreak--killing deer, starting wars, there's no end! (BTW, my boyfriend's 52 and he says he has low sex drive but does just fine when he watches porn. But that's another post, because that's not about weaponry but loss of sexual attraction.)

Hi there, I am new to the forum. I just resigned from my job as a police officer and am currently unemployed.

Most cops end up ostracized from society, divorced (usually more than once), residing in small apartments, being alcoholic and not being able to get it up.

From personal experience, I can also tell you that cops lose their sex drive...it just happens and it comes along with the job.

To be fair, men in general lose their sex drive over time, although at varying speeds. the high rate of alcohol abuse with cops probably accelerates the problem.
