He was a graduate student I knew. And I met the prof. Brilliant guy, but loopy. And very hard on his students, IMO. It was the profs failing that he could only communicate with a certain type of person.

I really can't remember how it came up in conversation, but at least he was honest with me, which is probably the only thing he's got going for him. Basically after being with the sloth, my Loser Detector was sounding the alarms so I ended up asking him alot of questions.

Thanks, Doppel. Yes, I'm still in touch with him and yes, I still think about getting back together with him sometimes. I still have too many doubts about it working out to initiate anything with him though.

I'm in kind of a weird dating rut right now. All the men I meet lately are koo koo, and I don't know why. The last guy I gave my number to at a bar, texted me the next day and had a girl's name tacked on to his message. WTF? The only thing I could think of was that he was texting me from his girlfriend's phone??? Needless to say he didn't get a response.
