It's not all about the woman.

You want a pretty girl, good personality, smart, [insert other things here].

She wants a guy who's in control of his life, confident, presentable, can take care of her, [insert other reasons].

It's a fair trade no?

everything just seems like its all about the woman. What the woman want.

Its like the guys need to form an orderly queue for the woman, and she just stands there going...next......next.....next......next

They go with men for a few years, and mess their lives up with them, because they like the bad boys/arseholes and they are left bringing up a kid or kids on their own.

I suppose I have become a bit of a woman hater. I have never ever met a nice woman in my life. The only female i will ever trust is my mum.

I am writing a book about my life, and my thoughts (a big part in it about woman). Its 3000 words so far and I will continue to add to it as life goes on. If there is any guys out there who can relate to how I am feeling please have a read and I would appreciate your comments. Read my book on my site at http://www.barrym.net/life/

Baz, you mean to tell us that we've all been here giving you sincere heartfelt advice and you end up spamming us with an e-book? :-D

I'm just messin' with ya :-) You need to completely change your outlook. There's so many wonderful women out there and are looking for a great guy to compliment them. You're vision of what it's all about is completely flawed and need to get out and live a little.

Why would you trust your mum? Heck, I bet she's baking cookies for the neighbor boys right now while you're away...darn women ! :-D

Are you a budding serial killer? 'cause that is soooo unattactive. What with the dried blood under your nails and the lingering smell of death.

2years ago I could really relate to you.
Small
Skinny
Pale
Insecure.
I got up one morning and thought **** this shit, went and signed up to the gym got a diet programme sorted out and I started to put alot of weight on and looked better for it, I was 8stone 3 and 5ft 5 when I started, started going on sunbeds (even if it is queer) but I felt soo much better inmyself started to walk with a better posture etc then I have an insane growth spurt over a few months and find myself at 5ft 11 (abit weird considering im 20 i had a spurt like that so late) packed on 2-3stone making me 10stone 9, I went out bought a completely new wardrobe. When your out in clubs and stuff walk with abit of a "swag" when girls look at you and make eye contact dont stare emotionless back you'll look like your going to rape them, just smile it makes you more inviting.

Thats all im gunna say, **** giving you anymore info so you can put it in your book, find the rest out yourself everyone else has to

I'm a petite woman (only 5'2) and do not find tall men all that appealing. In fact, they tend to be intimidating and give me a crick in the neck from having to look up all the time. So yes, there is a market where shorter guys are more favorable.

Welcome to the evolutionary roles of the genders. The males hunt, persuade, and court while the women have to filter through the bad ones to find a good one.

Luckily, we're human beings which means we can override instincts if we really want to. There are women out there who pursue men... who play the role of hunting, persuading, and courting.

Whatever role you want to play in the dating game... you will have to be confident in yourself or you'll fail in your pursuit as well as attracting attention to yourself.

Also, lose the misogynistic tendencies. There's bad apples in every bunch -- male or female. Being hurt by a few women is no reason to blame the entire female population. I'm not happy about those selfish bitches being part of the female community either... but they are. Learn how to recognize them sooner so you can avoid them or drop them like a bad habit. Don't let them distract you from the decent women out there.

Keep your chin up. Remember you have much to offer a woman, you deserve respect from people, and you're a downright interesting and caring guy. Anyone who doesn't think so, really isn't worth your time... or as the Americans say "fcuk them." You have a right to better things in life -- assert that right and stand up for yourself, especially when it comes to women.

Dude it is all in your attitude, girls can feel when a guy (like you) thinks they are ugly and that is a big put off for girls because: You think I am ugly, I have not the looks to get a girl, I do not have the body to get a girl. So what do you do?? You fokus on a personality, try to be a to much of a nice guy, try to be too funny and all in all you are not yourself anymore and that pisses girls really off. I also was in your shoes. I started to act like I am a model, and guess what, I have a model girlfriend now

That's a horrible picture from what I can tell and you still don't look ugly to me, but I'm a guy so...

My advice, do whatever it is you think you need to do to attract women. If you think you don't look attractive or are to skinny, do something about it and don't let anything hold you back. Change can be hard sometimes but its always worth it.

Ok dude...

At first I was not entirely sure if you were male or female but on closer inspection you appear to be male.

Seconldy you are very small and women will hate you for being small however you are a bit of a pretty boy so there is much hope for you yet young padawan. Be thankful you are not a Yeti I often hypothesise that I am the distant cousin of Beowulf and that I would be much better off in life as some sort of bear that rips the arms off other bears, anyway this is about you and not me.

Are you ugly ? No - hell no, but you are small and feminite. I'd suggest acting macho and hitting on tiny chicks. Also act stupidly confident. Chicks love little guys that act confident especially the skinny ones.

Also avoid real confrontation but always cause confrontation with people you know won't fight back so when someone is just being fun loving and possibly annoying or something stand up to them and say 'hey man ... blar blar' you'll be a douche but chicks will see that as strong and assertive as the majority of them have no understand of conflict or of voilence so they'll see you as some sort of tough guy defender of the peace having a shot at the nice bloke having a good time who would never fight back.

The best bit is he'd never hit a little guy. So your good to go.

Good luck champ.

So it's not a looks problem

You have got to like yourself before you can expect anyone else to.

BoredGeorge is the forum misogynist and complains the most about his failed love life... so it may not be wise to accept advice from him... just a courtesy.

I didn't see you as effiminate. You're just a regular guy who happens to be a little short. Nothing that really matters when you have confidence in yourself.

Ok I can speak from a similar point of view.. I was once in your shoes. And I'm still making some of the same mistakes with my current GF. You have to be considerate of girls but they really want to know what you like to do. They don't want to make plans for dates, and certainly won't come up to you and ask you out..(usually) Anyway.. Point is just get out there and start asking girls out.. Don't worry, just get practice in doing it. You will fail at first probably but after some practice you will get it right.. It's the only way to learn I think. Just wait once you figure out the beginning of dating you have to figure out how to make it last. That's a real challenge too.

Good luck and God bless to you my friend. Please wish me the same.. I need it. Got a great girlfriend, but may loose her if I don't figure things out.

its just trying to get that confidence. Just back from the gym there. Been going about 3 or 4 times a week now, its making a difference to my arms. I do actually have a bad back and my posture is quite poor but im hoping I can build other areas of my body to overlook that.

I'v got alot to offer a girl. Im gonna change my ways and approach woman from now on. Whatever girl gets me is gonna be one lucky lady haha Next weekend hopefully with a few pints down me I'll be confident enough to ask a girl if I can buy them a drink

that's the spirit!

and baz, if the back thing is one of the big factors for your lack of confidence, see an orthopeadic specialist, that problem if sorted out now can be fixed.
