Point is, not only do you not know what it's like to be a father, you will never know, could never know. So you mothers out there can take your mother cards and shove 'em.

Again, you do not either as you are not a father. However, my husband is. We have discussed this type of scenario and he would choose our child. I'm not offended in the slightest. Is this a difficult concept for you to grasp, Fras?

Gribble's original post was motivated by the news article. So the article itself is relevant in this case. His question presented the scenario of a spouse and child having an equal chance of survival. However, from reading the article, we know the son had no hope of being rescued while the wife had a much greater chance of survival. You jumped the gun and answered like any logically-challenged person who is susceptible to knee-jerk reactions.

to further demonstrate how dumb you are, I never said I would choose a spouse over my child. So there's no point for you to bring up my lack of parenting experience. The fact you keep focusing on that only serves to show the weakness of your argument. If you must know, I would attempt to save my child first if there was a chance of survival - even if it's only 1%.

haha, why would I need to Google a response? I write my own material. The reason for the delay is b/c I'm switching back and forth between studying for my anatomy exam on Friday and posting on LF.
