No I don't. I talk normal. Mexicans use extremely strange words that don't even exist on dictionaries. At least according to what I've seen on mexican tv shows... although that may not be very accurate, because smart people are rarely on spanish tv, so those on tv talk like apes most of the time.

Yes, Mexicans say a lot of strange words. My girlfriend is from Galicia and she is always correcting my Spanish and pointing out words that don't exist. And spanish spanish uses þ where in Mexican c is pronounced like s. It's not a lisp.

Ahhh Mejico <-- Seriously, people don't you think it looks weird when it's written this way? Spaniards think it's normal

The only difference I've noticed between spanish and for example argentinian spanish, is the accent that they put on different syllable. For example Spaniards say : sientate . And Argentinias would say : sientate boludo! And yeah the Argentinians and Columbians I know ,don't "lisp"

    Vale?

Mexicans speak differently than spaniards because when the spaniards came to this continent they mixed with other people who had their own native tongue. Spain spanish is influenced by other languages as well. Arabic comes to mind and I'm sure there are many others.

    And lilwang. Shut up.

I completely agree! We are native English speakers and we should learn how to speak correctly! Not to mention, it is extremely hard and confusing when you aren't a native English speaker and you see English speakers themselves making many mistakes.

I can say that I've experienced the same dilema when I practice Spanish. It's embarrassing to point out to Spanish speakers, "It's CONOZCO not "conosco" "Estuve" y no "estube"" etc... So if you are a native English speaker, I think it is your God-given responsibility to learn your own language. You don't want someone who learned English as a second language pointing out to you, "That's wrong. Wow, I know your own language better than you. That's sad."

THEY'RE going to get THEIR dog over THERE. Learn grammar, people! (This isn't directed to anyone in particular, but I see this all the time on facebook! What's up with the million fan pages with horrible grammar? There are so many fan pages I would like to join but they all have some kind of grammatical error in them....)

I've heard that kind of mistakes on American tv-shows when there's people speaking spanish (and on south-american tv too) so I gotta guess that's common for spanish speakers over there. It isn't over here however. Well, mistakes like "estube" or even worse are common for teenagers and the like, but that's because they don't usually read enough and "v" and "b" sound the same in spanish.
