the "I want to make love to you" scoop is something i really hate to hear from any guy. It sounds self-interest.

And the guys who suggest 'making love' are the ones who are more likely to refer to a woman as a 'young lady'. ick

Smooth is a turn off for me - it feels too contrived. If he's subtle, then I tend to misunderstand what he's saying. I like a guy who calls a spade a spade.

I think this is why I have a good track record at avoiding fakes.
