That is true that we do it just to relieve pressure. For instance, when I'm in school, it has been a ritual of mine for years now to make sure I jerk off right before a test. Be it right before I go to bed the night before, or right before I leave for the test. That way my head is clear and I won't be pre-occupied by the thoughts that usually consume half my day. Plus, if you don't do it at least once a week or so, you'll have a wet dream, which is crap once you wake up. But anyway, I guess I'm above average for masturbation, because when I don't have a girlfriend, you can count on me doing it somewhere between 12 and 15 times per week, and with a girlfriend, I usually have sex at least once everyday, and still manage to masturbate once or twice per week.
