OMG ... I had a really great time tonight. I think the one thing I mostly enjoyed was all the attention I was getting.
Life is too short. Have a lot of fun and don't be afraid to fall in love.

Bought some new sandals after I runeid my old pair by jumping in the hot tub with them on (duh). Also bought me some CDs today. (Yes, I still buy CDs). And I actually got a bunch of shit done at work too without being bothered every 10 minutes.

I enjoyed a very fun week with my brother. He took off a week to visit me and we saw more of England than I have the 9 years I've lived here; weekend at the Reading Festival, two trips into London (Tate Modern and Kew Gardens were brilliant), went to the Observatory Science Centre, Chatham Historical Dockyards and the Rochester Castle. I think I need another holiday just to recover...

My wife was up really late last night watching movies cause she couldn't sleep and watched the notebook all the way through for the first time and was texting me the whole time (I'm deployed) so she got very loving and sweet (cowgirl doesn't happen all the time lol) which made me happy. I asked her when she first realized she loved me and I was shocked by the answer, she said it was one morning a few days after we had met and had hung out all that first weekend (as friends nothing had happened) but she said one morning when I crashed on her couch and took her and her daughter to IHOP for breakfast something told her not to let me get away (I was in town for work for 7 weeks).

I made progress today with a girl who is the absolute definition of out-of-anybody's-league (she's a incredibly nice & gorgeous personal trainer/yoga instructor). So far I have played it brilliantly, despite outside pressures to move things along quicker (my roommate, for example). My best friend (who used to model and hired this girl as a personal trainer) got us connected...at first I laughed at her and said 'no way, no chance, out of my league'. She told me she would help me out. We chatted most of the day yesterday...talking about yoga/fitness...I just asked about her...tested the waters a bit...threw some bread crumbs out there. Today she messaged asking some things about me. So I'm making good progress in just 2 days. Just gotta avoid fumbling the ball when/if I get down to the 1-yard line as I've been apt to do in the past. What makes it even harder is that she is incredibly shy...so it is tough. Pretty stoked right now though.

Oh, such lovely flirting I wish a girl would respond to my flirts in person too.

Edit: Actually, a handful of girls have responded to my flirts! They've all been married, otherwise unavailable or lesbian, though.

Funny, I was going to post in the "what annoyed you today" thread about the newbie flirting.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
