I haven't worked all this past week.

Bullshit that we're out of this recession.

    I know, to Texas.

I glance at their craigslist boards every now and then and get depressed.

"Electrician's Apprentice Wanted!" is e-plastered all over the e-walls.

You really should consider it before it's too late and you have kids to take care of.

Is there some reason you aren't in Texas, Frasbee? It would probably make your girl soooo happy.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Neither of us really wanted to go to Texas yet. She feels like if we go there, there's no leaving.

I really wanted to experience Philly again living on my own, and being with my friends again.

But I can't envision a stable near-future as it is. Every time I think I'm on solid ground something like this happens. I'm not even technically laid off, the company is waiting for several jobs to start up but they can't even give me a date.

I found out that I'm not eligible for unemployment (in PA, you are eligible even if you just have reduced hours) because I haven't worked enough in PA for the past year to qualify.

I'm going to try to stick it out the rest of this lease, but if this is what living in PA is going to be like for the rest of this year, I might have to pull the plug early and moved to Texas. I hate it. I really wanted to get comfortable here for a while...

Why would I be "afraid" to move?

Since 2007 I've moved to Oklahoma, Louisiana, and back to Pennsylvania again. And done extensive traveling in between.

Got to work today and was told to go to the office. My supervisor told me that I had several complaints because I do not work like I used to last year around this time. She knew what was going on, but she wanted to bring it to my attention. I have several work related rewards, including a hero status award, most valuable employee, and 100% customer service award. I told my supervisor that I have not been working as hard because I have been busting my ass at work and still have not got a raise or any more hours, and I am trying to go to school to get my degree in Physics and Secondary Teachings.
