Tiay, to answer your previous post, the purpose of carb cycling is to trick your body into thinking it has a steady supply of energy so it doesn't go into conservation mode. When your body isn't getting enough calories, your metabolism slows and you are more likely to store fat. This is why people who eat only once or twice a day, no matter how few calories per meal, still hold onto some fat.
There are different ways to carb cycle. I suggest you look it up online to find which method works best for you. For me, I gradually decrease my carb intake each day for 3 consecutive days, introduce a high carb day on day 4, then repeat. On the days that you lower your carbs, make sure to increase your protein intake to minimize muscle loss.
here's a pic I took of myself today.

thanks neo I'll definitely look into it. I'm not looking to bulk up incredibly, simply to not let my metabolism slow down.
neo, i think you're ready to go.
You still have to bend your back to show your lousy six pack! You need to do more xcersses...
Not that I have a six pack or something...
Don't expect anything.
What do you do for your legs, specifically calves?
bohemiandonut, I do the following exercises:
- squats
- lunges
- seated leg extensions
- seated leg curls
- lying leg curls
- sumo squats
- deadlifts
- standing calf raises
- calf presses
- seated calf raises
I hate my eating schedule right now, it's so sporadic.
I can't wait until I'm out of school so I can get a job where I can actually eat dinner at home.
Neo: Do you have a ****ing job?
How do you find the time, brother?
bohemiandonut, I work as a personal trainer. So I'm always at the gym. I find time to train in between clients. ha ha ha.

Your abdomen is a thing of beauty.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
Hate to say it, but I think your lower back needs some work. But maybe your lats are just so huge they make it look weak.
I seriously envy your forearms though. I do think you could raise your pecs up a little with some incline bench - do you do those? (edit: Enough of those?)
