Odd. I don't see anything in these posts about HER point-of-view on the matter. Do you even know if she WANTS to marry you? Or be married all? Or is marrying her just something you feel you need to do merely to round out the great job and house you've managed for yourself and, thereby, happily enter into and mingle among the proud ranks of the conventional?

PS: Just because everybody says it's so, doesn't make it true.

Not someONE, lots of someones. Most in fact But okay, whatever you say. It is rare to see people in love under the age of 30 who didn't feel they were going to beat the odds. I hope all LF posters will be amongst those who do.

Yes Vashti I mentioned it was more than one person, that was just a general sentence to get a point accross.

I still haven't seen anything that said "the cause" of divorce was because of their age. I'm sure there's several people out there that got married under 30 and then divorced, but I don't see anything saying their age was the cause of it all. So i'm saying no matter what age you are you run these risks anyways.

Really? You've never heard a divorced person say they never should have married someone in the first place because they were too young?

Maybe things are skewed where I live. In Los Angeles, divorce is very commonplace.

I have heard that before, but I don't think that was the #1 cause. I mean something had to have happened (ie. cheating, money issues, growing apart) for them to say that ya know?

I guess I tend to associate those characteristics with immaturity (cheating, financial irresponsibility) or normal human development (growing apart is often just "growing up")...
