Don't believe those numbers as given, LW. Lots of ways to cook those books.

Just one example of many. Consider a foreign company that buys a domestic US one (or buys just a portion of it, even better) & leaves it in that country to pay US taxes, etc. That is considered part of the *US* GDP. Deutsche Bank owns lots of US banking interests.
