ok so i'm on a mission to revive this amazing thread which drove me nuts while i was reading the past posts. i'm going to try everything you guys mentioned here!

but to start it off i'll mention that i made Tikka Masala this weekend and it came out amazing, but everyone who knows anything about Indian was surprised to find that the recipe didn't ask for curry.

so here's the link for anyone who wants to try it, trust me if you like spicy food this is GOOD. and if anyone can explain to me why this recipe gets away without using curry even though everyone told me this dish is supposed to have curry in it, please feel free to enlighten me.

    i do!!!!

    easy burrito:

    INGREDIENTS
    1/2 pound ground beef
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
    6 (10 inch) flour tortillas
2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
    1/2 cup prepared salsa

    DIRECTIONS
Place the ground beef in a large skillet set over medium-high heat. Season with garlic powder and oregano, and cook, stirring to crumble, until no longer pink. Drain off grease, then reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the refried beans and salsa. Cook until heated through.
Warm the flour tortillas for 2 minutes in the microwave, or until pliable. Spoon 1/4 cup of the beef mixture into the center, top with shredded cheese, and roll up, folding in the ends when you get to the halfway point.

Everyone so far as said they have to limit their intake of XXXX recipe.

You all realize that your recipes are exponentially healthier than what 95% of America consumes on a daily basis? Relax, none of you are killing yourselves off by any stretch of the imagination.

I am not much of a cook due to lack of motivation when I think about cleanup. I will say my body functions a lot better in every aspect when I cook for myself. No artificial BS or things on the label I can't pronounce.

On that note, I saw something the other day with the ingredient "rapeseed"........its a real thing : /

Okay. This is one of those artery-clogging recipes with tons of butter.

How about Chicken Asparagus bake w/Almonds? I've having to raid my recipe box for you.

Or, if you like Japanese, I have a yummy recipe for gomae. Its really tasty AND good for you.

It was my first experience making a paneer dish. It was made with a creamy tomato sauce, and was served with garlic naan. The paneer I could take or leave, but the sauce and naan were heavenly!

I had chicken goma on monday. I also had beef tataki. Several friends and I went out with a friend of mine to celebrate his birthday. He picked a Japanese restaurant with a sushi bar.
