the majority of the time, it's the man who is doing the "buying." We usually invest more resources when it comes to the opposite sex (e.g. approaching, getting her number, arranging dates, spending money, etc) while women take on a more passive role.

"Are you describing physical appearance? No offense, neo, but I find Dopple more handsome than you. Facial features, that is."

I'm referring to the total sum of all my attributes (e.g. intelligence, looks, maturity, personality) compared to his.

"As for your physique, not all women enjoy men built like tanks. Personally, I like men who are well-proportioned but not overly muscular."

I hear this line used on here all the time, but I have yet to come across a girl who thinks my muscles are too big. Normally they say I have the perfect body.

I think I am more intelligent than you, Neoseminole. And I am cocky about it. How can you know how intelligent and mature I am, let alone my personality through a couple of posts I make on some website I post at during my JO time?

I speak 4 foreign languages, play 3 instruments, I draw and paint, I am very academically involved with school, I've won more than 15 awards and scholarships combined, I am a tutor, I am an experienced fisherman, I am enrolled in the faculty of education at my school (One of the most prestigious schools in a tri-state area) I study international law and relations, I completed an art minor, I have a cumulative GPA of 3.7, I have experience in building construction, I study biology in my freetime, etc. In addition to that, I'll be going to grad school in the near future. Let's not forget I went on an exchange program, either.

I won't even delve into maturity and personality. I don't have time for that.

I use 'meathead' fairly accurately to describe some egotistical, pompous prick who thinks that he's better than everyone else because he uses a body building 'career' as a way to compensate for his general lack of security and sense of embellishment.

    Or simply: WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

BTW, did I ever mention I'm big and have muscles? I actually bench 220, curl 85. I'm pretty damn strong. Used to be a wrestler. Heavyweight. I don't look like Tarzan or anything but people don't mess with me.

likewise, I could ask the same from you. My perception of myself isn't based on what I know about others, per se, but rather the strong unlikelihood of them having a greater sum of attributes than me.

"I speak 4 foreign languages, play 3 instruments, I draw and paint, I am very academically involved with school, I've won more than 15 awards and scholarships combined, I am a tutor, I am an experienced fisherman, I am enrolled in the faculty of education at my school (One of the most prestigious schools in a tri-state area) I study international law and relations, I completed an art minor, I have a cumulative GPA of 3.7, I have experience in building construction, I study biology in my freetime, etc. In addition to that, I'll be going to grad school in the near future. awesome. I will give you props for speaking multiple languages, being a tutor, and having a 3.7 GPA. The rest I could care less about. I drew when I was younger but grew bored with it. Big deal. I would even be willing to compare artwork but that would be no contest. I would also venture to say that competing in several bodybuilding competitions is harder than fishing. I attended college with a full-ride in scholarships and, admittedly, dicked around hence my 3.2 GPA. Unlike you, I am already in grad school. I'm actually applying myself this time around b/c I want to do well and plan on doing a post-graduate program to specialize. By the way, I'm 3 for 3 with A's so far on my tests and quizzes. haha

when have I ever said I'm better than everyone b/c I workout? And what makes you think I'm using bodybuilding to compensate for a "lack of security and sense of embellishment?" If anything, it would be the total opposite. I lift to keep a balance between a strong mind and body. I don't like to fit molds such as a "skinny nerd" or "dumb meathead." I like to break 'em. ;-)

    Flaming for the win!
I will do my best to reply with an educated, humble and honest answer. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you want to listen to my advice or ignore it completely. Sometimes, my advice may be wrong; occasionally, it will be right. Regardless, I want to do my best to give people answers they are seeking.

You're older, Neo. I'd hope you are more mature.

Post a pic in business clothes. Slacks & a dress shirt. I'll tell you if you look larger than normal. Normally you are artifically flexed for the camera, which skews your appearance towards looking like a gym monkey.

Good job, doll. Your MA will put you in a sweet faculty position someplace to do some good. Keep up the painting, tho.

Im gone for a week and this thread turned into a whose better then who.

I work at kmart, can draw but thats about it, and can only afford to take one college class at a time. Does that make me a bad person? I dont think so. Does that mean my quality of life is more poor? I dont think that either. Im actually really happy and comfortable. If you guys were happy and secure with your lives and bodies you wouldnt be having such a meaningless argument on an internet forum.

oh please! What did you expect from a site full of idiots and social misfits? I can't post a pic or voice my opinion without someone attacking me.

still taking small swipes at me, huh? And then members wonder how come threads turn into flame wars. I won't indulge your childish behavior. I'm simply pointing it out.
