The money thing was just a joke, sheeesh. That's not me at all.

A Kayak, definitely a kayak. Soooo different from a canoe!

OHHH! So THAT must be what that winky thing at the end of your sentence means! Yoke.

And Lloyd is braindead. He'll never get the difference between a kayak and a canoe. To him, they're all boats.

Just oogled your new pic in the gallery. What are you? At a funeral? You look positively petrified.

No, I was in a theatre, directing a play. So more a look of consternation I think.

So, while I prepare for the big date tomorrow night (by the way...he seemed to have most of the weekend free so I think there isn't a girl in the picture). ...... I also sobbing buckets. My goodness. Still much pain from the last guy and it surprises me when it hits me like this, it really does.

Especially when their is something good on the horizon, geepers what am I getting all upset about!?

Anyhow - GOOD NEWS. The guy I'm going out with has so far proven himself to be a real man (ie: suggesting the date, time, location of the date...and picking me up). Simple things but I feel let down by guys that want to meet you half-way and hum and hah about where to go, what to do.

He seems to know the score, if you know what I mean.

I had a really good time.

He was a full gentleman. We had interesting conversation and I sorta did one of those "oooh, he's cute" things when he came to pick me up. Kinda felt like I wanted to kiss him right off the bat to cut the tension and just get it out of the way. Of course I didn't.

What was really great was that he brought up the subject of relationships by asking "So, why are you single?" and I told him that I hadn't been single long. Turns out that he hasn't either.

The girlfriend comment was a slip he made. He said that he didn't quite know how to take it back once he said it.

We talked about the idea of maybe needing to be single for a while to "recharge batteries"...but then again, maybe not......? We were both open so that was good I think.

Anyhow, the night ended after some really good kisses (and lovely compliments from him). So I look forward to hearing from him again.
