It started out in LA; the gang members would wear baggy pants to hide guns, like sawed-off shot guns. It then became "cool", don't ask me why, and spread across the country.

actually , they took this "look" from prisons . the inmates used to wear uniforms and usually they would sag because they would make them like that , then when they went back to the street , they started wearing baggy cloths ...

i personally hate baggy cloths , i dont like cloths that "stick" to you either , except on girls . If i see a 21 and older guy wearing baggy cloths i will automatically think he's a joke and he's ridicoulos .
