The system really only supports two parties. If a third party turns up and actually gains momentum they'll just be cannibalizing themselves by stealing votes from the party most in line with their views, allowing the other party to win. For that reason they'd end up being assimilated into one of the two parties.

Hmmm, not like THAT hasn't happened before. So, hippie tho I am, its why I'd never vote for Nader, Gribble. He failed my IQ criteria with that f-up. Gore should have had him quietly disappeared.
