Tone, darling, sorry, but I too will have to side against you on the matter of depression. It is a chemical disorder, and not at all the same thing as situational depression.
Junsui - I hate to tell you this, but if you have kids one day, according to my OB-GYN you will be at an elevated risk for postpartum depression, so brace yourself. The fluctuating hormones seem to have something to do with it. I hear the same is true during menopause.
Yeah, I figured something like that would be a problem one day. Booo
How can this be proved?Originally Posted by shh!
I think you all should be saying "in my opinion" like me.
Seretonin levels and brain activity of people suffering have been measured, and they ARE different, so in my opinion, you are wrong. But I still love ya!!
lol. i agree.
yeah how'd that go for you? You know, the whole "menopause" thing?Originally Posted by shh!

Oh yeah well the cereal level in my stomach is different than yours cause I eat Honey Nut Cheerios and you eat Apple Jax, so maybe it's a cereal disorder??Originally Posted by shh!
Just because it's different doesn't mean it's the cause. That's pretty ignorant. NO ONE knows how the human brain truely works, and I'm pretty sure no one alive ever will, therefore this is all just speculation.
Seretonin levels and discumbobulator tests don't prove depression is MEDICAL CONDITION.
now THAT is not right.Originally Posted by shh!
the term "medical condition" is MUCH more arbitrary than depression.Originally Posted by Tone
