NFC Wildcard Game 1 - January 7th
Washington (10-6) at Tampa Bay (11-5)
Tone's pick: TB 28-20.
football's pick: WSH 21-10.
Lloyd's pick: WSH 24-6.
Asip's pick: TB 13-10.
Final Score: WSH 17-10.
What an ugly game this was. Washington did not WIN this game... Tampa Bay went out and LOST it... the Redskins offense was SO PATHETIC.. where was the deep ball?? Where was Santana Moss?? Where was Clinton Portis?? Chris Simms outplayed Mark Brunnell. Both his INT's were tipped balls, otherwise he played well.. The TB defense only gave up 3 points the entire game and held WSH to what was it.. 120 yards of total offense? And the fumble should have been down where it was fumbled at.. Cadillac Williams had his leg all over that guy when he recovered, it shouldn't have been returned for a TD. Oh well, sorry RK.

AFC Wildcard Game 1 - January 7th
Jacksonville (12-4) at New England (10-6)
Tone's pick: NE 30-13.
football's pick: NE 24-14.
Lloyd's pick: NE 28-7.
Asip's pick: NE 21-14.
Final Score: NE 28-3.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
NFC Wildcard Game 2 - January 8th
Carolina (11-5) at New York (11-5)
Tone's pick: CAR 27-23.
football's pick: NYG 20-17.
Lloyd's pick: NYG 24-21 OT.
Asip's pick: CAR 24-21.
Final Score: CAR 23-0.
Wow this game was suprising. I didn't expect Carolina to be able to completely dominate the Giants on both sides of the ball in their home stadium.. biggest suprises were Fauster rushing for over 150 yards, Tiki being held to just 41 yards rushing, and Burress to 0 receptions.

AFC Wildcard Game 2 - January 8th
Pittsburgh (11-5) at Cincinnati (11-5)
Tone's pick: PIT 34-27.
football's pick: PIT 27-24.
Lloyd's pick: PIT 31-17.
Asip's pick: PIT 31-24.
Final Score: PIT 31-17.
Good job Lloyd, dead on with your prediction. I think this would have been a COMPLETELY different game had Palmer not gone out on his first pass... I mean he started out with a 66 yard completion... I'm sure there would have been much more - it's really too bad what happened to him. With Kitna in there was no threat of the deep ball and you knew he would make a mistake.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Tone 3-1.
football 3-1.
Asip 3-1.
Lloyd 3-1.
Lloyd good job.. your AFC predictions were incredibly accurate.
I didn't tell you, I'm a Handicapper on the side.

Wildcard weekend over - post your Divisional picks:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
NFC Divisional Game 1 - January 14th
Washington (11-6) at Seattle (13-3)
Tone's pick: SEA 31-10. I think finally we're going to see some offense in the NFC playoffs. I think the Redskins will play a lot better offensively, than last week... maybe even keep it close in the beginning, but Alexander and the Seahawk offense will wear them down, control the ball well, and put it away in the 3rd quarter.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
AFC Divisional Game 1 - January 14th
New England (11-6) at Denver (13-3)
Tone's pick: NE 20-17. This one should be good. I just can't see Denver knocking out the Patriots with the way they've been playing recently. I think the Broncos lead for most the game, and Brady leads the game winning drive with under 6 minutes to play.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
AFC Divisional Game 2 - January 15th
Pittsburgh (12-5) at Indianapolis (14-2)
Tone's pick: IND 42-10. The Colts have been waiting all season for this, and there's no way they're going out first game. James has a big game rushing (130+) and soon as the Steelers put 8 men in the box to stop Edge, Manning will hit his receivers on single coverage for big plays. This COULD be much closer, but I think Indy will be too fired up, and their defense makes a bunch of huge plays early on, allowing their offense to strike quickly from a short field.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
NFC Divisional Game 2 - January 15th
Carolina (12-5) at Chicago (11-5)
Tone's pick: CAR 17-13. Well I said if the Panthers get by the Giants they're goin all the way, so I better stick with it. I think Delhomme gets better protection this game than their last meeting (8 sacks) and the Panthers move onto the NFC Championship game in Seattle.

Ouch. You're dead to me.Originally Posted by Tone

haha I knew you wouldn't like that.
I figure we agree on the other picks though, post your picks!
[BWAS at SEA
Not close at all. Washington's getting too beat up with injuries and frankly, the Seahawks have been playing awesome and will goto the Super Bowl, on the back of Alexander.
Seattle 31-10.
NE at DEN
I'm going to go against common thought and pick Denver. I think NE has the better team, but Denver will be rested, and it's tough to play in Denver.
Denver 21-17.
PIT at IND
My Steelers lost 26-7 to Indy earlier this year and the line is Indy (-9.5). Ouch. this will be a higher scoring game and Pittsburgh better not be so conservative in their play call. I can't bet against them, so Steelers win.
Pittsburgh 34-28.
CAR at CHI
Chicago has no business being here, yet alone having a bye. Same as Jax was last week. Chicago's offense is anemic at best.
Carolina 24-7.

You know I almost picked Denver over the Patriots too... I have a feeling SOMEONE will be upset this weekend...
Well we all know who that will be.Originally Posted by Tone
