Nevertheless, there are plenty of men and women who would disagree with what you are saying. You ARE expressing a double standard. I doubt I can change your mind. Anymore than certain open-minded individuals could alter certain deep-south white plantation owners mindsets about slavery. They also thought their thinking was completely justified. I could just as easily replace "guys and girls" in your above post with "blacks and whites" and have the same argument, I suspect. And I highly doubt you could tell me anything about biology and hardwiring that would be remotely relevant to this issue.

Or how women are allowed to play in men's sports if they are really good but if men suck, they aren't allowed to play in women's sports. UH, lets think here. The reason more men fight in wars than women is because men don't let them. It's been barely a decade since women have actually been allowed to enter active combat. So that's one hell of a dumb situation, as men are the ones who haven't let women fight historically, not the fact that women haven't wanted to. Also, women are allowed to play in mens sports if they're good, because men ARE, on average, naturally more physically fit. No woman would argue that. Its because when you give women 10000 years of housework in their genes, and men 10000 of manual labor, guess which one will be stronger.

This IS a double standard. Are you really so pathetic to say "well women should be able to close their legs. But me? Well damn, I'm horny! I gotta work so hard to get it!" Uh, bullshit. For one, if we're so amazing, how about we just say NO? Or maybe, I don't know, MEN could be the ones expected to wait til relationships, as THEY are the ones who are traditionally expected to start them, anyway. Men are endowed with the natural right to use women, but not the other way around? That's dumb. You're either going to do it, or you're not. If you have a one night stand, I think you did something wrong despite what sex you are. Because behind being men or women or black or white, we are ONE thing, and that is PEOPLE. So we are expected to act as good, moral PEOPLE.

AND ONE MORE THING: If men can have sex promiscuously, but women can't.... who are the men supposed to have sex with? Other men?

Actually, no, I'm not following at all. Please DO explain how you feel how men and women's equality (or lack of) in Islamic countries contributes to your argument.

Where did I say that men and women weren't different? Where did I say that they are the same? Please show me that post b/c I don't believe I actually said that. What I DO say is that, in the case of sexual equality b/t men and women in modern Western society, that biological differences do not consistute grounds for discrimination. You are the one holding the double standard, demonstrated amply in your previous posts (go back and read them Neo, no one else seems to have any problem understanding what you've said). So the onus is on YOU to explain why you think such a double standard is justified.

At the moment, the ONLY arguments I HAVE seen are exactly racism (bordering on misogyny) and hatred (your posts about women have NOT been flattering). I am ALWAYS prepared to learn something. But lets hear some FACTS, man. And ones that address the PRESENT biological situation, not how we were 1 million years ago when one of my ancestors sat behind one of yours picking the bugs out of your scalp. Please make sure your points include explanations that account for modern reproductive control practices such as the birth control pill.
