hahaha you guys are suckers for this stuff. what do you want me to say? that I'd gnash my teeth and wail in sorrow and write her a letter in my own blood? Look I don't really think about that stuff too much. If I did I'd probably still be in Australia. If I'm really 100% honest I think she will still be there when I get back and I don't mean that in a cocky way. That's just what my gut is telling me. So no, I'm not plagued by bouts of anxiety or fretting over the thought of her running off with another man. Whatever happens I know I've done the right thing and I'm at peace with that.

Just, in this day and age it's not easy to expect a woman to wait for a year. Like you mentioned, lost of outside influences to lead her astray. But you have the right attitude about this I think. Doesn't work, so what, wasn't meant to be, continue looking. I like that.

She's not waiting for me in the sense that I expect her to stay 100% faithful while I'm gone. And of course I know that she may fall in love with someone else while, and that would be well within her rights. But whatever happens my gut tells me she will, in one sense, hold out. As I keep saying to her, a year really isn't that long a stretch of time. In any case, I think it's ill-advised to hold off on pursuing these sorts of things because of relationships, particularly at my age.
