I use MSN Messenger, but also I only (or, well, 95%) have contacts that I know/have known in real life. Can be a good way to keep in touch with old friends when going overseas.

i would but i have to do some debugging with my computer before i install messengers again. i can't even go to myspace without the rest of my computer stopping and rendering all my other programs unresponsive right now.

I used to use YM for calls, but realized that skype was much faster.
Just download trillian at "www.trillian.cc" and you can combine all of your messenger names and passwords into one program. And it doesn't use a lot of system resources because there aren't any advertisements ...no autographs, please!
