    This is the lighthouse that I was talking about. I loved going to this place and just sitting there for hours at night and thinking about things. This was my escape after my breakup. It's pretty quiet out there, you can hear the waves crashing...the lighthouse also has a fog horn that is for some reason really peaceful sounding.

    I didn't take this picture...but this was wear I used to sit. There were benches all along the edge of the bluffs in that area.

    The neighborhood I grew up in had a mediumsized woodland behind it. This is because my hometown was built on a swamp. I used to walk through the woods all the time. I always admired the unpaved ground and the canopy of leaves above me.

    Beautiful Chicago, the pot holes are amazing this time of year here! You guys should come and visit. I think this pot hole should be Chicago's post card.

    yeah, but i never lived in the russian climate really. except for the 3 years in Toronto. don't know how i survived that.
