Fortunately for me, he'd find me a bit more daunting IRL, also.

Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

The label of intelligence is so fuccked up I even hate the word. A lot of people think they are smart when they aren't, a lot of people who are smart don't realize it, and a single test is worthless. IQ tests, the SATs, are all relatively worthless assessments of that. Only a third of the SAT has any value anymore, and even that isn't worth shit
Secondly, I absolutely HATE when people identify with their intelligence more than other traits. Having humanistic qualities like tastes in music or art is above siding with your so-called intelligence

Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
God or the Devil

You fear your own anger, the drive to do great and terrible things."
