actually, someone dying of huner would wait for the chicken to produce the egg, becaues once the chicken is dead, then there are no more eggs, i think it's a better pay off for waiting for eggs, rather than being greedy and killing the chicken, you could have a sort of symbiosis if you will, a sharing, doesn't that make sense?

if they are already dying of hunger, they aren't sure how much longer they have to live. today might be their last day and tomorrow will never come. if that happens, then i can eat the egg that they died waiting for.
