I have no choice. I am an ugly ****er so most women do not find me physically attractive. Most women require a certain level of physical attractiveness that I do not have. This is something I am learning to live with.

Maybe, when I am 35-40 I will marry some fat overweight woman that no one else wanted, but until then I am happy to be single because that is my life and we are all as we are made. The last thing I or anyone else in my situation needs is some gorgeous, perky little 20 something year old telling us about how looks don't matter and it is all personality.

Google image search a guy named "Seal." Not the most attractive man in the world due to a disease that caused some deformities on his face. There should be images of him and his wife. See if you can figure out who his wife is, then tell me that one of these "perky 20 year olds" just might be right.

I just started a blog that deals with relationships and how to handle them. Sometimes I just vent about what I am going through. Feel free to come back and share your thoughts and views and also gain great advice from a woman who has been there and done that.

Nurses are like any other professional - sometimes they get overworked, are having a bad day, lapse in judgement, or just plain make a mistake. Last time I checked they are humans trying to do a difficult, demanding job.

Ultimately, it is up the parent, patient or their family to make sure they are being taken care of. When I first moved to Vancouver I walked out of 2 doctors offices. In one case I didn't like how she handled her patients and the other guy seemed like he was on drugs.

In Boston, the nurse I asked to leave took *3* tries to stick my son's foot in order to fill a glass capillary tube for the genetic testing they wanted to do. She couldn't do it and when she tried for 4th time I told her to please leave and next time she should use a sterile needle and 1cc syringe. It would have been much less invasive and reduced chance of infection.

I have great respect for medical professionals, but if I see something I know isn't right I have no problem telling them so and suggesting an alternative if I know one. We do this with our doctor often, he appreciates it as much as we do. With so many docs & nurses seeing so many patients and being overworked, its only smart to take some responsbility. Any who get offended are insecure; most will appreciate that healthcare is a cooperative process.

My daughter is having a lot of seizures... well, less seizures, but a lot more auras, which she thinks are worse than seizures. I hope they can fix her up in a hurry.
