odd, I don't think 3k is that much money. it's a lot to get for xmas though and for trivia, decent houses here go for about 250 to 400k.

Compared to the amount of money I got last Christmas this is nothing. But quiet frankly knowing my dad I highly doubt I would be getting a check over $500 next Christmas. But quiet frankly it would not bother me if I got no money next Christmas, because money is not everything. Yes it is nice and useful to have, but it can't buy you everything.

Ask your hubby for money. Or get a better paying job. I ain't going to be your surgur daddy. My money is my money. You can beg all you want. Heck you could strip and give me a lap dance and I still will not give you a dime of my money. I know that I may be Mr. Scrooge, but I rather be like that than living pay check to pay check like most people my age are doing. And part of that is not spend a ton of money on girls, it being drinks, clothes, what ever.

you know, you're right- I've always had everything I needed, and quite a lot of things that I also wanted. Still, if could buy a house, It'd save me the rent and then I'd just sell it afterwards. :|
