Its not that simple. Everyone enjoys different things. Some people are entertained by people shooting and things blowing up. Some are more entertained by a good cohesive plot. I personally loved 'Avatar', but many hated it calling it a 'Dances With Wolves' knock off with special effects. To a certain extent that is true, but I loved the movie.

I agree with you on that. Most stories have already been a hundred times, but the movie itself is what made it special. Avatar reminded me of Princess Mononoke.

Ha I love you for mentioning that movie! I don't know anyone else who has seen it. It was definitely a great movie.

'Avatar' took me to a place where few movies have though. I found myself putting myself in the place of the lead character as I watched. I truly wished that I was there. I love a movie that makes me step out of reality and makes me wish that I could stay there.

    I havn't seen Avatar yet.

I thought 'The Island' with Scarlett Johannson was a good movie. It had more action than I cared to watch, but still the storyline was good. Anyone else seen it?

No, should I? Have you seen 'Howl's Walking Castle'? It was another good one. Definitely not horror, but a good movie. 'Blackjack' is one of my favorites too.

I've heard that Grave of the Fireflies is great, but very depressing.
Good decisions come from experience. Experience comes from bad decisions.

Grave is a very touching anime. Castle i have seen not too long ago. Probably all of Miyazaki's works as well.

You do know that there is an explanation to all of the above questions though, don't you?

Alright I see, you didn't understand the film that's why you didn't like it. Fair enough. The story and EVERY single plot development was there for a reason, but it required a bit of thinking (it wasn't your average film where all the answers are spoon fed to you) but if you anticipated every single answer to be explained to you then this film was probably not for you.

It's psychological horror type scary (no cheap scares). It's my favourtie genre so I loved it.

It wasn't bad, but I thought his Spirited Away was much better. One of these days I'm gonna seat down and watch ALL of the Miyazaki's features.

It's an old one, but The Exorcist. Also Paranormal Activity was creepy and disturbing.
