You come here asking for tips, and when people tell you to do this or that you go against it and say how it's not right and what not. So what are you posting this thread even for? Want people to cheer you up because you feel bad about yourself? That's what it looks like to me, you're a bit too pessimistic LR.
In all seriousness, it nearly sounds like you're in a depression. Maybe you should try something like self-confidence therapy? I'm sure that would improve your personality, along with the chance of finding a good partner. Good luck mate.

I understand and respect your post, Alphyn. Any advice I get that I honestly think I can use, I try to.
Personally, I think the only cure for this depression is a date, something to look forward to, to build up for and I always cheer up when given a pleasant challenge.
