Blame media and education? thats like blaming the gun for the murder and not the gun user. The kid could watch all the violent movies, porn shows, and have a louzy education but if he has common sense and the ability to reason he will be fine. I blame the kids for being slutty.

I'm not saying it's totally on anything, but common sense is not some aura of belief that anyone magically has. It's a combination of education, right and wrong, and moral beliefs stemed, or raised from family values, etc, etc.

Adults are just as at fault as kids are, they are not born with the notion to have sex and kill someone. If you honestly don't think the media doesn't have anything to do with it, then your observation isn't that great. Are kids total innocent, hell no. But if kids are brought up within a well rounded family, with a good education...chances are the likelyhood of them doing these things, esp. younger ARE far less in the long run to someone who didn't..and thats a fact.

Im not arguing that family and media doesnt effect a childs thought in the long run. Only that it shouldnt be blamed for it. Its the cars fault we die in an accident...we still blame the drivers because they make the decisions. The kid sees this crap on TV..yes...no one is forcing him to do any of it though. He alone decides its "cool" and does it.

I completely agree, I'm just saying that right and wrong have to come from education/family. If he connects the basis of it, and then evolves with it, then yeah...it pretty much is on him, esp. if he was raised the way a kid should be raised.

Virgin, I think you are unfairly comparing the mind of a child to that of an adult. Ultimately, as you mature, you ARE responsible for your own decisions..but that's only once after you have reached a level of educations that enables you to see that you have other choices. A child lives in the bubble that is as big as their parents are willing to allow. This is why you often times adopt your parent's ideas of religion, moral values, political views, and professional sports teams...sometimes for life. But sometimes you learn more and are openminded enough to know that maybe the way to do things isn't what you saw at home...but to an impressionable child, if he sees daddy beat on mommy when she talks back, how is he to know this isn't the way things are done? Where's his other feedback coming from if the parents don't allow it?

And whats with tossing around the word "gay" and "fagget" (at least spell it right)? Just because people wait to have sex makes them "gay"?
