I use Facebook primarily to keep in touch with people who have moved away or who I've met here. I have no interest in "friending" someone who I can hang out with on a Friday night.

Once again everyone's finding my goddamn Facebook account and sending me friend requests which I ignore. Then these social retards get all pouty and upset with me. Time to shut my Facebook account down again, I guess. Idiots would rather text and post bullshit on each other's walls than live in reality. What kind of person gets insulted by something as petty and lame as social networking? ****. I find new reasons to hate humanity every day.

I was goin' strong today at work. Movin' really efficiently.

Then by after lunch I made a mistake and it really killed my morale, because I had to take down some work that I had already put up, and it was bitch to install in the first place. It was a silly mistake, but cost me time.

Why are people so rude to others over things they can't help? My girlfriend (an immigrant, from Germany) came home today all kinds of upset because she got a 20 minute lecture from a customer at work about how if she's going to "invade" the USA (O.o?) she should learn to speak proper English, or hop on the next plane out of here. I don't get it! That's relatively common, though VERY rarely has her in tears, so I'd like to find this guy and figure out exactly what his problem is. I'd be happy to sort it for him.

But I don't get it. I spent 4 years in the military, more than 2 of them outside of the USA. Not once did I EVER meet someone native to another land who behaved in such a childish manner as people do here. With all the evil this country does in the world, most people were still very hospitable even if they didn't like us. It makes me quite unhappy to know that the country I served, is full of people less civilized than many in those I fought. /rant

I just find it sad that I was greeted much more pleasantly while forcefully invading someone's home with guns, than my girlfriend has been, legally working in this state and contributing to those around her. I hate the sense of entitlement people feel here, to call this land "their's" and talk to others in such a manner. I guess it happens everywhere, I'm just particularly angry tonight. It's just shocking that in the time and things I've done overseas, that I never met people that behave in such a way as people seem to here. Not one. It's unfair in my opinion, that she's met so many here. It makes me ashamed.

It's just ignorance and fear. And you have to remember that these people are in a minority in US, I went there last year and the hospitality was good. The people who behave in this manner are just cowards, they need to be called out on their BS and challenged so they don't go around spreading it like leprosy.
