It would make sense though that you would make that call on physical chemistry being your husband isn't a physical chemist. Have you taken classes in physical chemistry before?
Moving to Vancouver was a lifestyle choice for our family. I mentioned this before.

I had more contact in my dept w/PChems than my husband did, actually DM. And yes, I took both orgo & Pchem as an undergrad. Orgo was great, PChem was one of the toughest courses I ever took, tho I appreciate it now. I don't remember the text off the top of my head but I remember it was a shit-brown colour. Seemed appropriate at the time.

Speaking of work, its time for me to do some.

I thought this thread was supposed to be about Choi putting his dick up his girlfriend's ass? It's all gone horribly wrong.

P.chem is going to straight up rock my socks. However, organic chemistry is still the most *useful* science to the individual

Yeah I might go do some review as well, given I have my final tomorrow at 1

Meh. As my husband would say: thermodynamics is in *everything*, so that's no saying anything.

I don't actually know there are physicists who specifically study themo (& call themselves that). I think they ALL do. Classical mechanics, maybe.

One of the better differences between nurses and doctors is that the nurse is a patient advocate. Doctor's don't care about the patient as much as the nurse does. There will be many times where a doctor is ready to discharge a patient when they aren't ready and it's up to the nurse to convince him otherwise.

I thought about suggesting to CB a replacement term called Patient Care Advocate. But I think some lawyers someplace have jumped you already on that one, Cain.

I doubt that docs care less than nurses about their patients, btw. Its just they are juggling a different set of issues. I agree, tho, that often its the patient comes out on the short end of that stick & its not right.

I'm not saying that doctor's don't care about the patient. I'm saying that the doctor's interests aren't always what is best for the patient, and that's where a nurse comes in.

Also, we have Patient Care Techs here, but those are STNAs (State Tested Nurse's Aide)... I got my STNA license in a two week class.

I didn't mean change it to some dog biscuit term like that. I had in mind something simple, that people will use. Like "medics" for example. Something with a bit of cache.

The term medics is already used by the team that works on the ambulances.

I don't mind being called a nurse. I think I generally use male nurse sometimes because of the stereotype, but it doesn't bother me. I've called myself a nurse before and of course people have tried to poke fun, but when I mention the job stability and the amount of money I'll be making in 10 years, they kind of shut up.

I want to find a sparring partner I can use to fill otherwise promising threads with obscure rubbish like an earnest discussion on the merits of modern classifications of physical chemistry
