i work in a group home (which next week i'll be the supervisor for this group home) with four people who have varying degrees of ability.

Hahaha! Well, don't feel bad. I am actually going to school to make me elgible to work in hospice where I will probably be having to do the same thing. So there! We are both losers!

hospice is a great opportunity to help families through losing somebody. my grandmother was in hospice for two weeks and my entire family practically lived there the entire time and the nurses were so nice to us and they talked to us and never did they make us feel like we were bothering them. i'll never forget those hospice people. plus you make lots of money. you in nursing school?

anyway my job is super easy. i think anybody could do it honestly. people just think they can't.

we had to do in home hospice at one point with one of our clients and that was rough because we knew him and were around him all the time. but you'll probably be doing gross things like i do.

I am still doing prerequisites for a RN program, but I should be getting in (hopefully) next fall.

I don't think your job is as easy as you say. You would have to be very patient and kind to do that kind of work, and would have to have a very large heart. But thank god for whoever it was that made rubber gloves!

i'm trying to get into law school for next fall. i have 3 classes to take now this fall and then i'll have my b.a. in sociology/economics. so i'm practicing to take the lsat and i'll apply in the spring. so cross your fingers!!!

i want to prosecute white collar criminals. i hate them and would the love for the world to be rid of them.
