I'm staying out of the damn city for the whole month of February. Stupid Olympics. Waste of taxpayer money.

STUPID OLYMPICS! I agree! I detest what it was done to our city. I detest how it will affect us in the years after too.
Just curious...I used to work for a company who had locations based out of Toronto and Edmonton....whats with people up there saying "zed" instead of "zero"?
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
Idk, "zed" is the proper English pronunciation of the letter 'z', but as far as I know, it has nothing to do with the number zero. They're just weirdos.
I know, girl, I was against the Olympics in Vancouver right from the get-go. We're going to be paying out the nose for it for years. Why, so a bunch of rich tourists can come and jam up the traffic and drive the city into overload for two weeks? Ugh, we should've stopped at Expo 86, we don't need anyone else moving here. I read about the cost of it online today and it ground my gears.

2 weeks? This will affect us for nearly 2 FULL months. Mountains have been shut down and roads have already been closed.
And my personal favorite was: let's expand the sea to sky... you know so you all can enjoy the lovely drive, the wonderful view, make it safer and to increase volume! Oh but you DO know that we're shutting it down completely to ALL traffic. Uh huh. Yeah.
I never eat in bed but the one time I do I spilled blackberry jam from my rice cake onto my comforter. The stain it left looks like I perioded on it.Shoot.

I'm kind of annoyed that my roommate didn't offer me more than $20 for driving her to the airport (1.5) hours on Friday and picking her up today - that's 6 hours of driving. Then again, I guess I need to ask.
My thermostat is set to 90. It's still cold.
Thank god I have free heating and water in my apartment. I am going to take a really hot bath later.
When I picked my roommate up, I asked her what she usually keeps the thermostat at - she said 66, and she had turned it down to 61 before we left for the airport on Friday and forgotten to tell me. I've been freezing since then because I didn't want to go upping the heating bill.
A kid or two in my gym class was barking at me and I snapped... hence me being nicknamed "Snapper/Snapper Jones". Luckily the ball was soft (and then some)
