Haven't heard the new Damien Rice

I'm listening to Joshua Radin's cover of that old Yaz song "Only You".

I heard him on Launchcast. I don't care what TAVS says- Launch really makes me happy. I've been using it for years, so it's really customized and plays great stuff- that's where I first heard Zero 7 and Joseph Arthur, I think.

    kyle eastwood

i'm listening to the sweet jazz music by kyle eastwood (son of clint eastwood). i just recently discovered him when i was browsing through musicians on myspace (myspace.com/kyleeastwood). the site says that he just released an album about a month ago. he has a few tracks on the myspace that are actually really really good if you're into jazz music.

Okay- on itunes, the new Damien Rice has every track listed as "Explicit". WTF, is his mouth dirtier than mine? Is that possible? Is he exhibiting Turret's Syndrome symptoms?

TD, have you heard this yet?

I haven't bought his new cd yet, but I've downloaded a few of the songs. So far I've only heard one where he swears.

What I've discovered about iTunes is that they have this bizarre policy about labeling "explicit" content. Basically, if any song on the cd has anything in it that they deem explicit, all songs on that album are marked as explicit.

But that's Apple for you, just making things that much more ****ing complicated under the guise of user-friendliness

Apple is like a boyfriend who won't let you order your own food on a date. I'm so regretting this itunes thing- just started using it two days ago, and already it's pissing me off.

I'm listening to Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by the Flaming Lips

    Yeah dude, **** itunes.

While I don't mind it so much as a player, do not waste your money purchasing the music from it. They put so many restrictions on it, it's as if you don't even really own it.
