Yes, a lot of people do love their cultures...but not the third world type of living. Why would someone love to be poor? : You can still preserve your culture without living in poverty.

They may care less about computers, but not because they don't have time for it or even chose not to pay attention to it, but because they consider it as a luxury (and not a need) since they have more important needs to attend to like how they can ease their hunger three times a day, if possible.

well people don't like to live in poverty, but some people are really hard to change. they don't like to adapt to a new style of living, if something works then why fix it.

with the whole computer thing, i feel that they think, hey if i learn how to use the computer, will it provide food for my family? and the answer is no, but on the other hand, if they learn how to grow crops, it will sustain life.

Poverty in rural areas is a big problem for China.

Not as big as North Korea, though.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Well, having a computer doesn't necessarily mean adapting/having a new style of living. I think, it's just useless to make it a right when there are far more other important things to worry about, like food and other basic social needs/services. Making it a right is prolly just applicable to Developed Countries.

It should not be a right in any place, it being a 3r world country or a developed nation. Look at the Amish in the US I don't consider them poor, but yet they use barely anything of todays tech.

Actually, I did stick to my point. Check my previous posts. You agreed with me on my point that ...again, they consider computers as luxuries because there are far more important things to attend to like providing their families with something to ease their hunger. Which, is what you said on your post too. And that's why I agreed with you.

If they don't even have enough food to eat, I doubt they''d be thinking of getting a PC. If they're stinkin rich, they'll be buying iphones and other ****.
