The **** you talking about bro, "the one"? You talk like a woman sometimes. "The one" only exists in stupid rom coms, and a birds imagination. Once you realise this, you might stop acting like a big fanny and finally get some.

I understood this to be the sum total of the bad stuff too. Well, that and the fact that a couple of girls didn't want to date him. Hardly the end of the earth, is it. Certainly nothing that hasn't happened to all of us.
The way he carries on, it's like something really bad has been done to him.
Well, it wasn't only "a couple of girls": never in my life have I actually been involved with the girls I've liked for some time. The few girls I've seen were really random things.
And rejection isn't solely relegated to the realm of dating and relationships: there are times in my life that are too horrible to look back on. Even in ignoring those times, it still makes me feel pretty angry and embarrassed.
Oh, please.
Bro, what's that supposed to mean?
Exclusion or bullying at school perhaps? Yes, it's crap. I was bullied at school....the worst days of my life. Kids can be so mean and hurtful
But it doesn't mean that I now have to walk around with a chip the size of Everest on my shoulder hating everyone. Again, it's how you deal with adversity which makes you the person you are today.
