hey woman. i'm working the big 4 0. and i'm taking 2 classes 1 lab, still doing research assistance, and have one paper to write to finish up an incomplete this semester and then i'm DONE!!! i'll be boss lady AND college grad. the second in my family, my dad was the first. i am busy. then i'm off on weekends and everybody is gone.

i'm so excited.... i saved $354 by flying from an airport an hour away.. isn't that awesome? pedicures, wine tasting.. all we need is a wedding to crash. haha

You can always go into your control panel and see what threads that you're subscribed that* have new responses.

It's happened to me 3 times now today.. usually Friday's are the slowest day of the week, but today it's been the busiest! X(

So get this.

I was playin poker last night with this bunch of guys... I wasn't catchin ANY good cards at all and was short stacked (meaning I had the least chips) and got dealt pocket Aces. After everyone called the blind I push all in with my remaining chips. My friend Adam calls. Turns over pocket Kings. I just look at him and play like I'm all pissed... turn over pocket Aces and he's just like "WTF!!" and everyone at the table is like "oooooh damn!!"

Flop comes K 3 K.

Give me a break.

Last time we played I was all in when I hit a straight on the turn, and my friend Mike calls with two pair... and hits a full boat on the river...

Well either way I would have lost my money.

He would have hit his quads and slow played them... he was first to act so he would check and I would think of it as a sign of weakness and raise thinking I had Aces over Kings..

After reading through some of the posts this morning, I have decided to add ebonics spelling to my list of pet peeves.

Grrr....

- When reading the forums here, writing a long / thought-out reply and/or getting caught up with work, then when you post or refresh you were idle too long and all the new threads are no longer marked as new so you have to look at the time stamps to see what posts are new.

- When getting to the forums after not being on for a couple days, seeing all the new posts you have to read, read a couple, then the site goes down for hours and all those new posts are no longer marked new when it gets back up. >;[

- Seeing what someone really looks like after they act big and tough and argue with you on the internet.
