Yes, but then they would have to acknowledge that not *all* parts are 'Gods Truth'. Which then leads to questions about which parts? How does one decide? Or, most logically, mbe its ALL bunk in that case?

Dodgy logic. Slippery slope. We've been here before...

Truth is comprehensive, Mish, or its needs revision. See my link for the full article.
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

Maybe you should find out what indulgences actually are before you attempt to talk about them.

I'll give you a hint. It has nothing to do with "getting salvation" or "getting out of purgatory".

    No shit.

Maybe you should read a little bit about them. I was actually referring to the efficacy of indulgences.

Care to elaborate (i.e. give an actual indication that you have a clue what you're talking about?)

Haha, I don't need to give any indication that I know what I am talking about; I studied the shit for 12 years of my life.

You should read some books on the history of protestantism. Maybe then you won't need an elaboration to understand my simple post.

How about that? It's also what I say when you do I what expected (that is, continue to give proof of your ignorance.)
