I was relearning my first four Kata for myWhite Belt. I took off for 3 years so now I gotta catch back up to my Green Belt. Long tedious process.

    Same question.
There are moments when one feels free from one's own identification with human limitations and inadequacies. At such moments one imagines that one stands on some spot of a small planet, gazing in amazement at the cold yet profoundly moving beauty of the eternal, the unfathomable; life and death flow into one, and there is neither evolution nor destiny; only Being. - Albert Einstein

I went over to my friend Lissie's house and watched The Man Who Knew Too Little.

If someone has a cat and it pees on their pillow, should they take it to the animal shelter?

Yes- I feel bad that they have to live in those cells and be all cramped up and live miserably and stuff.

No- Because there they are going to a better place... :my tummy.

Three years ago. My blood type is AB positive, so they don't want it as desperately as they want type O. I practically have to go in there and force it on them.

What do you think is wrong with kids these days?

Giga's: I think the problem with kids is that there isn't a particularly high demand in any work field to provide young people some direction as to what they should do in life. "You can be whatever you want." Is the worst form of encouragement ever.

    For one, no, you can't.

Secondly, even if you could, how the hell do you decide?

Just last night I couldn't decide whether I wanted Wendy's, Wawa, or Dunkin' Donuts.

I would almost go as far to say there is too much freedom and too little direction.

The idea of learning the trade of my father as they did way back when is appealing to me at this point. Because at least if all else failed, I would know there is a least one thing for me to fall back on.

If somebody came to my door and said "Anthony, we need you to learn this skill and get to work ASAP, the people are counting on you!" I'd be up and out that door in a heartbeat. But it's not like that at all. Good for those people who have some sort of direction, to everybody else, I'm right there with ya.

    Aegis: Your question is confusing.

But if I ever want to refer to an audience without using "you", I go with "one".

My classic example: "One cannot deny." This is how I avoided losing points on my English papers when I wanted to use "you" (when I wasn't supposed to).
