its not a date, just a meet like if you met sum1 at the park. you meet talk an hour see if you would like to see them againand go on your way. its that simple. if you get aske dout in a few days then its a date.

Vashti is right, meet for coffee and set a time limit ahead of time. My aim is 30 minutes for the first meeting with a maximum on 1 hour if things go well.

Its not a date, its a "get to know you". Online dating always has the first meeting like this. If you leave happy, then arrange to go out for dinner or an actual date.
