I just ruined another stupid batch of idiot-proof cookies... followed the recpie religiously...
Anyone have any good tried-and-true deals? Right now I'm trying to master the old choclate chip and maybe sugar cookies, but anything will do

Buy the dough, make little balls of the dough, put it on a metal slate, put the metal slate in the oven.
Even my ex can do that.

Yeah these last ones came out reeeeealy fry and crumbly... again, I followed the recipe to a T... it was even on the bag of sugar, you would think it would be good...
I just want to be a good housewife someday...

Why don't you get the ones that come precut and start with those? All you have to do is put them in the oven.

Check out the recipe on the Tollhouse chocolate chip bag.
I used that and they turned out just fine.
