i don't know, some of you don't believe there is a god. but i do. and i think he is the best artist.

P.S.: there is no god.
"Why are you an atheist?"
"because I paid attention in science class."
come on ov. don't you look at that pic and wonder how or why that even exists or what it's a part of? i mean, it's so many things all at once i can barely wrap my mind around it.

I want to be the universe.

I look at that thing and see matter revolving do to gravity. Matter that has always existed and always will exist. Much matter in the world is beautiful and none of it ever had a creator. Though what ever makes you feel better you can tell your-selfOriginally Posted by misombra

Besides OV, you don't know any more than anyone else about such matters. Except the muslims. And fundamentalists... but that's just implied.
Matter has always existed... okay, then explain the big bang Oh Great One. Was there anything before that? (Hint: Most physicists say no. As in no time or space.) So what did the big bang come out of? Nothing? Then what's the point of anything existing at all?
I hope you see that if you're thinking analytically it becomes a lot more confusing than you have asserted. Traditional atheism is merely a defense mechanism (you don't want to be controlled like a puppet. Don't worry, you're not. By God, anyway...)
