    Hypothetical Question

Here is a hypothetical Question: Who do you think is more insecure?

    Guy A:
Has a lot of money and KNOWS how to attract women. He's cocky and funny but knows "the game". He has been in a few relationships, both long term and short term but these days doesn't keep a girl to long either out of boredom or the fear she's getting bored. He also has big dreams and ambitions, I.E. Making films or something of that nature.

    Guy B:
Makes an average living for his age but doesn't have a lot of money or ambition in life. He has had his share of women but is head over heals in love with a woman who has left him a couple times only to ask for him to come back. I.E. "I think we should see other people" when she meets another guy then "I still love you" when that guy stops calling.

For the sake of this exercise lets say they are both really good looking guys.

One thought I want to put fourth is I do believe the answers people reply with will be partially based on gender though I wouldn't make a prediction as to what those replies will be. Thanks for your answers!

I don't really understand your question. You haven't given any real indication of either guy's self esteem or confidence other than guy "A" being afraid he is boring, and guy "B" taking back a woman who dumps him periodically.

I think that "cocky and funny" phrase is synonymous with that stupid PUA stuff though, which tends to make me think "loser".

Wow. Whats the point on replying if you aren't going to read the post?

Most people consider insecurity to be a matter of self-esteem and confidence. Didn't you know that?

But lemme guess - you are the "cocky and funny" guy, right?

lolwat? Vash is right, you really just didn't provide much information about one's self confidence. That kind of thing is critical to insecurity and its kind of hard to answer without more information. There is a ton more that goes into it than just how much ambition they have.

Actually I gave a LOT of indication of self esteem. I guess it was just over your head. Let me spell it out for you guys.

    Guy A:
Has money but doesn't get close to women any longer.

    Guy B
Has no money but chases after a woman who has no respect for him.

I think those are clear indications of self esteem. I can't get much more clear than that since these two people aren't real and I can't tell you their day to day lives.

Don't insult people because you failed to clearly convey your question. That's your shortcoming, not theirs.

Clearly Guy B is the most insecure. He has no ambitions and he's a doormat.

It isn't my short coming when you don't read my post completely. It only took me typing it again for you to read it and respond accordingly. I'm proud of you.

So you were wanting us to draw the conclusion that a guy who isn't interested in having an exclusive relationship (guy A) was insecure? And guy B was, too? (I thought he was just lazy.)

Don't take up a career in writing, my friend.

So having a lot of money but not getting close to women out of a fear doesn't say hes insecure to you? Don't take a job that requires any thought about what you read. Doesn't suit you.

Ironically I am a writer for a television show... HAHA

Must be network TV, and not HBO.

You said EITHER out of boredom OR out of fear. That implies one or the other, smart guy.

    But whatever. This thread sucks.

Don't feel embarrassed. I meet people all the time who aren't accustom to deep thought. You'll get the hang of it in due time. In the future I invite you to not post in my threads. Thx!

That one made me grin as well. Plato's in the building.

Obviously he's Guy A since a television show writer wants to make films (why else would he be so specific anyways?), and I bet that the viewpoint on Guy B is skewed so much that I'll pull the pass card on making the lad feel good about himself based on his own input rather than by someone else.
