Does he like me or am I being a fool?

I have fallen head over heels for a friend and I'm not sure if he likes me...

We dance together (that's how I know him) and recently have been dancing very closely with a lot of eye contact. Last week we danced a lot including the last dance when he mouthed quite a lot of the words.

He asked me to go out at the weekend but there is a group of us going so it could just be as a friend

He strokes my fingers when he holds my hand to lead me onto the dancefloor and always seems to hold into it for longer than necessary

He looks into my eyes a lot

I think I am just afraid I am going to get hurt and I'm reading too much into it. He may just see me as a friend? I don't want to look like a fool if he doesn't want something else

Looking like a fool is one of the guaranteed things in life. Get used to it. It don't hurt that much.

I'd say he likes you. Is probably shy like you and doesn't want to look like a fool, either...

Suggest a date, invite him for tea/coffee/lunch...

Some guys second guess themselves, and wonder if they are reading your signals right. Make sure he knows you are interested....flirt with him more intensely, hint at him to ask you out.
