Eww. Anyways, i would consider cybersex kind of unfaithful but not cheating. But once you get on to the "Cyber Relationship" then I believe that it is because then you have moved on to the emotional part which is a betrayal of your partner's trust. So, i guess its all in the definition.

I don't get why one would do that instead of having the real thing, unless it is merely for the flirting/gaining attention. The average person doesn't write well enough to actually arouse another person, although maybe a writer could do it...

But to answer the original question: it's not cheating if *I* do it, but I don't think I'd want my S/O to do it.
