How do I get my crush's attention at a soccer game?

So recently I moved and he has sorta faded from my mind, but when I do think about him, it's still there. My friend told me he's coming to my town to play soccer against the home team. I don't want to start cheering for them as that would rather odd, but a way of catching his eye? He still recognizes me, but we're not close close friends.
We have a teasing sort of relationship, and the last time I saw him, he gently pushed me, and I didn't get him back! (It was on my birthday too, it was a random coincidence XD)
So how to get his attention and get him back?

If he's on the pitch, you shouldn't aim to attract his attention. He's there to focus on the ball, not girls in the crowd!

However, there's nothing to stop you messaging him to tell him that you heard he's in town and ask if he'd like to catch up

On the other hand, he's not going to be playing the entire game you know. He's on Varsity, JV and Freshmen have to play first. I was asking about when he wasn't playing.
