Would you help me with this please?

I am friends with benefits with a guy that is a very close friend of mine. Until about a week ago, I thought we were on the same page with our relationship, but right now i am confused.

You see, in the beggining neither of us wanted a relationship, because we were trying to get over our exs (him more than me, because his breakup was "fresher" than mine). He always said that he didn't want a relationship with anyone, because he couldn't feel emotionally available.

So we agreed it was all good for fun, but we also felt like we could eventually be in a relationship (together) when the right time came.

It's been 6 months now. I still feel the same... actually I am starting to like him a lot =D

The problem is that he is saying that now he could start dating if he found a girl that really "messed with his head" and he has been telling me about some girls he met.

So were the hell do I stand here? what do you guys think is going on?

Should I talk to him about this?
