    I'm ready finally

I just became ready to move on completely, I will honestly admit I spent the last 4 months sleeping on the couch after the break up with my ex, but I realized I’m just holding on to something that I shouldn’t. I was afraid to go back to my bed coz the last time I was there was with my ex. I couldn’t psychologically handle it. I have to say I’m ready, it feels good actually. I’m gonna go home to my parents tomm and then when I get back to my house I’m going to sleep in my bed, I have to say I’ve finally moved on. I can’t understand why it took me so long tbh. I never thought I was this emotional. But I feel good about my life now, everything has worked out so great ( I really honestly didn’t see that I was having problems dealing with it). I think it’s something I’ll need to be careful with in future that I am affected. I really thought I was a lot stronger but I really am now. I feel good about being me now and my future is looking really amazing, my biz is so busy and I have so many regular clients now and have had nights out with friends and I just feel good finally, Happy Christmas everyone!!!!!!!! i feel so grateful to everyone for puttin' up with my rants, i really feel all lovey dovey right now, i love you all (even you cb hehe)

My girlfriend sleeps on the couch more than me.

And I sleep in her bed!

I remember I felt that way after I broke up with my ex of 2 and a half years. After you spend 2 years sleeping with a person in the same bed, the sudden change is like a shock to the system. You can't sleep, you just lie there staring at the ceiling.

I ended up moving out of the place completely, that made the transition a lot smoother for me.

Eco I think it is great you are moving on.

People deal with things on different ways, that's what makes us so fascinating. After my last big break up I lost 6 kilos in weight over a period of 3 weeks. I just didn't have any appetite.

So Eco good to hear, have a lovely Christmas and sleep well

Hehe, speak for yourself. I slept like a baby. That sleep apnea was driving me crazy!

I think the main goal for us after a break up is to realize that every emotion that we are putting ourselves through comes initially from our brain. We have a choice to make ourselves miserable or to move on. I would usually get into bed and make myself feel as miserable as possible on purpose and put myself through as much negativity as I can after my break up. but to tell you what, after a couple of hours our brain and body gets so tired of it that I eventually start thinking positively and get completely over that person.
